Madras is an intense heavy psychedelic song by Deadpeach that begins with an expansive, desert-like atmosphere, gradually evolving into a more solid and stoner sound. The track features a powerful final solo that leaves a lasting impact. The lyrics evoke imagery of caravans and troops navigating through deserts, with the slow, deliberate pace influenced by the sand and mountains along the journey.

Madras completes the square of songs dedicated to India found in Deadpeach's previous studio albums. The series began with 'Benares' on the first album, followed by 'Bombay' on the second album, and 'Calcutta' on the third studio album titled 'Arum.' With 'Madras,' the musical journey through these Indian-inspired tracks comes full circle
